1911 parts help

Hey so I have a project and I was hoping someone with a lot of 1911 experience could point out these parts. Okay so I'm looking at some what copying this, can someone tell me all the parts that are black so I know what to buy?

I know the beaver tail and trigger, but what's the terms for the pins and stuff? I want all the small pieces to be black except eh slide and frame pretty much..

I know sigs do a black mainspring housing, mag catch, grip safety, thumb safety, skeleton hammer, skeleton trigger, slide stop lever, that has an external extractor, and a pachymar grip.
My sig had a black bushing and guide rod plug.

I might have named them wrong, but that's almost all of them.

That's a different pistol.
But other parts are a plunger tube and the other picture has an extended magwell.

Are you trying to make a "Mil-spec" 1911 into something like that?

Yah I'm gonna take the SS Sig 1911 Target and make it look like that. In gonna do the black rosewood grips so I really am just focusing on the other parts. Awesome thanks for all the help!

Also how many of the parts on the 1911 are interchangeable? I've heard everything on the lower is and then the upper is different, any feedback on this?

From what I can tell; front sight, rear sight, trigger, slide release, grip safety, hammer, mag release, grips, external extractor, maybe the barrel bushing and mainspring housing.

As for the pins, you can just get a full pin set. I have no idea what the individual pins are called.

From the other pic, plunger and thumb safety too, but as someone pointed out that's a different pistol.

1911 parts almost all require a little fitting at least, not sure about Sig 1911s though.

From the diagram above I know these Sig parts are not interchangeable - the slide #40, the slide stop #41, the barrel #1 and the extractor #8. With this many parts I would say the entire slide assembly is different than the milspec 1911.

Why not disassemble the gun and have the parts you want black cerakoted, then you know you have the right parts going back in.

Generally, you just buy a complete set of pins for your 1911.

Sights are definitely NOT interchangeable between 1911's as some are dovetailed and others are staked and there are different types ofdaovetrails as well.

Cerakote will be cheaper than replacing all those pieces with quality parts. You're looking at the magwell/msh, grip safety, thumb safety, plunger tube, hammer, hammer pin, sear pin, slide stop, mag catch, and mag catch lock, and trigger
