Glock 19 Major malfunctions.

Brand new G19, took to the range today, many issues, at first I thought it was my reloads, I loaded a few light rounds last night, to try out. I cleaned and lubed, left mags loaded for 2 weeks prior. I used federal factory rounds, plus hotter loads, that i shot through a G17 and another G19 without issues. 5-6 issues on each mag. everything from failure to feed, eject, stove pipe, nose dive, and bullet pointing up stuck between the barrel and the breach. after 100 rounds it was happening less, about 200 rounds there was several times I was able to shoot complete mags, but issues still continued after that. I know I was not limp wristing. The rami and Sp01 ran all ammo with out issues. I am going to call glock due to the 2183 followers, I think may be the issue. Today was a great day to practice for failures. The gun was accurate and shot well other wise.

Followers have been discussed many times so good start and good luck.

Did you try your mags through the other G19 though?

Get the 9mm6 followers.

Had the same problem with mine. The issue is the followers...

Called Glock...they sent me NEW followers for free...problem solved.

Don't freak out, just get them replaced. Glock was super helpful and great customer service.

They are definitely the issue. If I were a gambling man, I'd put money on it.

By the way, you'll also need to trim the feed lips in the CA 10-round mags to accommodate the Glock 6 followers.

Yea I already had an idea, I have own many glocks, with no issues ever. Also the followers have been brought up so many times on the web. It shoots great, and I had a lot of practice clearing jams. I ordered 4 new mags as well with known good followers.

Was giving you a bad time . Your gun is new. I hope you work the bugs out . Sounds like you are on the right track now. I think Glocks are great. . Just not comfy for me. If they were I would have a truck load . XD fits me like a glove . Good luck .

A Glock with standard capacity or even high capacity mags is one of the most reliable products on earth. But with California neutered mags, not so much.
