    Big gun make big boom

My brother-in-law is an Italian and he came to visit this Christmas with my sister. He saw the Desert Eagle and fell in love with it, and as a parting gift before he left today I took him to the range.

Took me about 50 attempts to time the camera with the discharge, but finally got one.

This wouldn't happen to be at the Riverside Magnum Range would it?

Indeed. That looks awfully like the LA Gun Club, where by chance I've gone with a friend and *his* .44 DE. We both were somewhat disturbed by the bullet holes everywhere, and I mean everywhere--at least those were in a nominally, sorta-kinda safe direction. Some are more disturbing than that.

I liked the guy with the rental shotgun who *knew* he didn't know much and asked an RO to verify that it was unloaded. Give me intelligent newbies any day.

What do you need guns for if you are going to send your children, seven hours a day, 180 days a year to government schools? What do you need the guns for at that point?-- R. C. Sproul, Jr. (unconfirmed)

                            Looks like giant-flaming-snow-flake.
'Cuz big holes are easier to see.
