Congrats on your new gun. You will spend way more on ammo. The little "premium" you paid will soon be forgotten once it gives you tons of smiles after shooting it.

Enjoy it more. Life is short.

That's the problem with asking if the price you paid was a decent deal. You get brutally honest answers and it just makes you feel like you got ripped off.

A good deal is when you find a gun that you like, it feels great in your hand and shoots well. Price is irrelevant because you made a wise choice on a great firearm.

Just imagine all the people paying $300-$500 more for a Gen 4 Glock. Nothing special about that gun except that you can't buy it at your local gun store.

X2 on this entire quote. Life really is too short for the BS about who paid how much for whatever. Owning a firearm is a lot like owning a horse. The cheapest thing about ownership of either, is the firearm or the horse. My one and only CZ is a 75 Tactical Sport 9mm. I bought it new 15 minutes after it went on sale at a LGS. I paid $50 under list. I really like this gem and it is the reason I will be looking for future products from CZ. Quit worrying, and enjoy your purchase. Less talking and more blasting.

Not bad consider it was your OTD cost. What you need next is to shoot it and have fun while searching for a Kadet kit to accompany it. I love my CZ 75 BD / Kadet.

I don't see brutal honesty. I see a gaggle of people that probably paid about the same as the OP, but need to make themselves seem savvy by posting how much cheaper they got the same item for.

That is assuming they even own the same pistol to begin with. On the internet, everyone owns everything and knows everything.

Well as long as the OP is happy, that's all that matters. I am a CZ 75B compact owner. Just under $600 OTD. He asked, we answered. No harm intended.

That is the exact same setup that I have except for my slide is the CZ 75 BD Police with the Kadet II 22LR conversion kit. Love this little plinker and it's so accurate too.

By the way, I paid $500 out the door plus $35 PPT fees for my CZ 75 BD Police through a Private Party Transfer. Kadet II was $315 shipped. So yes, my 22LR is $850.

On this we can agree. My CZ-85B wasn't much of a bargain by the time I paid transfer fees, DROS, tax, etc. But it is a superior pistol and shoots as well as anything else I have in the safe. The money is soon forgotten but a nice pistol has lasting appeal as well as great utility and purpose.

I wasn't trying to be snarky, sorry if it seemed that way. I've paid way too much for a firearm in the past. Yours was in the ballpark. As others have said, enjoy the crap out of it.

You'll forget about the price tag after the first time you take it to the range. The only thing you'll be thinking about is "why didn't I buy one sooner?" followed by "what model should I get next." CZ are great guns, especially for their price.

Damn, this is awesome... at 50ft !!! I just started shooting last month and I get tight groups at 7 to 10ft... but not at 15 and 25ft.

I was thinking of getting the cadet for my 75B. Especially since I go shoot once a week. That will save some $$ on ammo too.

I love my CZs and I'm never selling any of them. Simply awesome guns.

I wish there was some way I could buy a Scorpion - I need that to complete my collection
