I don't like the P07 or P09. Spent forever tracking down a P07, but 800 rounds through it and never liked it...

    The P01 is great.

I watched the video and noticed the difference in the brass ejecting. I got a brand new G19 recently, shot flawless 100 rounds, but the brass have hit my forehead countless times.

        Nice

I thought about getting a Glock 19 or Glock 17. But when I held one in my hand at the gun store, it just didn't feel right. My nephew has a G19, and when I shot it I just couldn't miss with that thing. But it is not comfortable in my hand like the bigger G20 and G21 that I have. The CZ 75 SP-01 on the other hand fits like they custom tailored the grip just for me.

          That is typical Glock 9mm.

I was at the range a couple of weeks ago and the shooter I can tell was new as his pattern on his target was non existent. He asked if I could help him tighten up his groups.

He was shooting a a CZ 75 in 40 cal. I asked if this his first gun and he replied it was. After showing him proper grip, stance and trigger control he actually had groups.

I am a Glock guy, I see my guns as tools but I must say those CZs ARE FRICKIN SWEET!!!

Congratulations on both guns. They are both great firearms. I've got my eye on a Glock 19 at my local gun store.

Glad to hear you are enjoying your new acquisitions OP. Thank you for the post.
I love the way my p09 shoots. That trigger reset though, yeesh!

First gun I bought was a Glock 23 in my 20's. Not the best choice to learn how to shoot with a .40 but it was easy enough to operate. And thats what I love about Glocks. Just make sure there is one in the chamber and pull the trigger. Less to "think" about when you don't have any time to "think."

I'm on my 3rd CZ now. I had a 75b full size, then a compact, and now the SP01. I like the SP01 the most mainly for the night sights.

BUT, the Glock is my 1st choice for HD/SHTF. I feel completely comfortable with it and it is about as simple and foolproof as any firearm design can hope to be.

Great choice on 2 fine firearms OP.

This will help the glock. Check out the 3.5 lb trigger too.

That's pretty awesome and very nice of you.

Below is an attached picture of my group at 7 yards. This was 3rd day of shooting. That was 20 shots. Sometime I load only 5 cartridges at a time, shoot slowly and analyze the result. I still go too much too the left, I know what causes it... so I need to work more on that.
I get a pretty consistent result like that with CZ 75 B. Once I got to 10 yards, I notice I still shoot more to the left. And at 15 yards gets pretty tricky.

I watched enough YouTube videos about techniques, I want to take a class with someone who is really good so I can correct things I'm not doing correctly.

Yes that's pretty interesting about Glocks and the fact they are foolproof. I'd trust CZ as much for HD. But for the End of The World situation I'd probably choose a couple of G19's with spare parts.

It seemed to be the opposite of that to me. The Glock had much more pronounced muzzle flip than the CZ.

And, yes, they can be compared. Both are 9mm hand guns that shoot 9mm ammo and pretty much about the same price. The fact that Glock decided to make their gun out of plastic is solely a Glock problem and nobody else's.
