What are the chances of a recent batch of OD P-01s having NSN#?

Grabagun recently had the OD Green P-01 come in stock, but they couldn't tell me if they had the NSN# because the guns were offsite in the warehouse. I know the CZ website says newer models may or may not have the NSN#

In my experience, all of the current production models have the NSN. That being said, the OD Green P-01 has a different SKU number from the black one, so unless if you are roster exempt, it is forbidden fruit based on the color of its skin (literally, given how CZ handles its finish vs say SIG).

That being said, the 92fs, Glock 17, 19, and Walther P5c all have assigned NSNs...

Assuming the date code is the 16 by the mark, my 2016 green P01 has an NSN.

^^ OD Green or ANY finish other than black regardless of SKU = not on the roster

From the CZ website in the P-01 section:

"For many years, the P-01 carried an NSN engraved on its frame, making it the first NATO-spec pistol ever available to the public. Recently, the factory decided to upgrade the slide stop spring which in turn means the current models may or may not carry an NSN."

My 2015 P-01 does not have the NSN #. I don't lose sleep over it.

Well there you go, some get the may have, and others get the may not. And since I have modified mine if it had the NSN # it no longer would be deserving of such.

And from a collectors issue, if they stopped production now on the P-01 would there be more of the NSN marked pistols or more of the non-marked ones?
