I'm not a tall person but have big hands for my size. Para Ordnance P16, Glock 21 are not a problem to grip.

You know what they say about big hands...

Almost all guns have double stacked magazines. 1911s most notably do not. And Glocks that specifically market as "single stack".

Second the USP or HK in general, like holding a cinder block. Go to the gun store and handle some firearms. Ignore how they "feel" only worry about how well you can reach the controls.

H&K USP series in .45 are all double stack. The H&K Mark 23 also has a large double stack grip.

if it is a full size pistol, and the standard mags were more than 8 rounds, most likely a double stack design
G17 - Original Mag 17 rounds- Double Stack

Ruger LC9- original mag 7 rounds - single stack....

Glock 21 13 rounds .45 acp- double stack

              1911- 7 rounds- single stack

I'm 6'9" and can palm a watermelon. Double stack in .45 I would go with H&K USP; in 9mm there are many choices. Ones that fit me are a Sig P228 and S&W 5906, although neither are particularly wide gripped - they just fit.

For me you can't beat a good old 1911 for big hands. My Sig P220 also fits nicely although it is a single stack.

Mac style pistol should be plenty thick.

Yeah, I'll definitely hit up the range this weekend and test a few too.

I don't think anyone asked this yet - what is the intended use? Range/competition I'd say CZ tac sport hands down. The 97B is pretty sweet but it is a big damn gun. A CZ75 with hogue wraparounds would fit well and be very versatile.

HK USP or USP Elite. the USP has a large grip. the jet funnel makes it longer.

Sig P226 or P229. Change the factory grips with wood grips and you'll have a fatter grips.
