Just make sure you handle the gun and like the feel of the 20 lines per inch front strap checkering.
Some people love it, some people hate it. But it would be very hard to change if you hate it.

With regards to the gun itself and the price, you cannot go wrong, these are great guns. I love mine.

Couldn't have said it better. Biggest complaint is the front strap checkering. Not a big deal for me, but it is for others.

jump on it. I run a Springfield Professional and have fired the TRP. They feel and shoot similar for half the price. Great gun for a great price.

They just fulfilled my reserve order from 1/30, so pretty much 3 months

But the reserve price is now $1426 so $ 1500 without any transfer fees is a good deal!

They list at $1300-1400 on other websites , the problem comes in availability. They are sought after and in limited production

It's produced in batches. When it's available, I've seen it hit $1300. When it's not, then the price is about a Glock higher. The ideal situation would be to buy low while Springfield does their annual promo.

My lgs had/has one priced at over $1800. They are typically priced high, in my opinion on every gun.

The lowest price I've seen was $1275.00 on GB.
