Thinking about trying a CZ. Need help

Not sure which one is correct, though the former sounds better
The higher bore axis of the Sig makes shooting it feel different than shooting a CZ SP01 Tactical. The decocker lever placement is also different, which may lead to a different hold between the two. The Sig's slide is "taller" (because the CZ rails are inverted) so there is more real estate for racking.
I don't have a P226 but I have a P220. As much of a CZ fan as I am, I respect Sig pistols. One Way to Post Pics ********** How to Submit an iTrader Rating That Counts ********** Brass for Sale

All I could think about while reading your post was Lieutenant Pete Mitchell holding his hands up back to back while saying "Because we were inverted."Not sure which one is correct, though the former sounds better

I love my Sigs and my hands melt into the frame when I pick one up. That's why I am not a fan of (wait for it... The CalGuns community is about to lose their damn mind) 1911's. My fingers look and feel like a monkey humping a door knob on the slide.sigpicComment

Tanfo is short for Tanfoglio and is a CZ clone. Personally I really like my Tanfoglio's straight out of the box without any customization or trigger work. If you ever get a chance, you should try the Tanfoglio Witness Elite Match as well as a Stock 2 or Stock 3.Comment

I've never shot a Sig but the bore axis is very high compared to very low on a CZ.Comment

Bore axis is an overrated metric, IMO.
I can't recall shooting any 9mm that was problematic due to bore axis.
Closest CZ to a full size Sig would be a 97BD, or SP01 Tactical.
Closest to the compact (228/229) should be the P01.Comment

If you're used to Sigs, then as someone else mentioned, the 75 BD, PCR, and P-01 Will probably be right up your alley.Comment
