    P22 in Bay Area?

I've decided that for my own plinking fun and to keep it cheap when taking friends to the range I should get one. Does anyone know who stocks them at a decent price anywhere near the bay area?

I have the P22 and I love it. I purchased mine at Reeds. I suggest you shop around..target masters, reeds, irvington arms..it's just a matter of price shopping. Finding a dealer here in the S.F. bayarea selling P22 shouldn't be that difficult. Good luck.

Reeds had it on sale a while back and was thinking of getting me one for plinking purposes. They had two types: Black Carbon model and the normal black. The Carbon model looks much better.

There was one sitting in the case at City Arms last time I was in. I didn't look at the price tag, though.

I would read up un the reliability first, mine has seen the Mfr. 3 times and still runs goofy. I only take it out to let others shoot it. I personally hate mine.

I bought mine at Irvington. I've taken it shooting twice. It's at the factory getting fixed now
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

As many have mentioned, do your homework first. Check out rimfirecentral and ar15.com forums.

I have one and I enjoy it immensely. It *does* have its quirks, but I don't regret my purchase. Fortunately, mine is just picky on ammo and nothing more at this point (knock on wood).
