I have a cbob and a pm7. I don't care for the aggressive front strap on the cbob.

    Otherwise both are fine pistols.

Having owned the PM7, and having shot the CBO be quite a number of times, I like them both. I think it's the best value you get for what many to be considered a semi-custom pistol. The tolerances are very tight, no swap or rattle, and I would definitely consider one if you have the opportunity

The Valor is DW's flagship. If you want to combine the Valor and the CBOB, you can get a VBOB

Btw, the Valor and VBOB are off roster. The only full size on the roster is the PM7.

I have a CBOB. I have no regrets getting it despite the somehow steep price tag. It shoots very well and looks very nice.

I think a commander size 1911 will complement your Loaded. Although getting another full size 1911 is great, too.

If you can get a Valor or a VBOB, get it. Otherwise a CBOB is great.

        Good luck!

I love my specialist, I did have to send it in for some fitting issues after it arrived. But they took care of it quickly and even worked on the trigger for the inconvenience factor after talking to gunsmith there. Only regret is not buying 2 more for my sons.
On the fact that it's Way better I can't agree. For the Price les Baer is just as accurate if not more but I'm not a fan of the finish.
TRP half/full rail with the heavy barrel is just as accurate in my view. Can't go wrong either way

I have a CBOB and love it! I prefer the 25LPI over the 20LPI on the TRP front strap. They are quality 1911's for the money.

I have a Valor, VBOB, and CCO, I'd choose the Valor...
I owned 2 PM7's previous... can't go wrong with Dan Wesson

Since you already have a full size 1911, I would get the CBOB. I have one myself and it's one of my favorite 1911's. I don't have the Valor or other full size DW but I wouldn't mind getting one eventually - they're of good quality.

What is the ultimate purpose of the gun? If it's going to be a range toy the adjustable sights and the longer sight radius of the PM-7 would potentially win over the CBOB. With the CBOB you get the aggressive front strap checkering and the night sights - something geared more to carry. Since you already have the SA Loaded I would go for the CBOB for a different feel which you get with the bobbed spring housing.

I have the CBOB and love it.....possibly most of all my 1911s. Front strap checkering is just right for my man hands!!

45 ACP benefits very little from longer barrel lengths.

I have both California versions, and I love them both. They compliment eachother very well.

I love my CBOB. Eventually will the get the PM-7 and have slides in different calibers fitted.
