I'm having some problems with loading on my brand new beretta px4 9mm. When I load 10rounds into the mag, it is very difficult to load the magazine. Smashing it in doesn't work. I have to insert it and apply constant force until I hear a click for the magazine to be properly inserted with 10 rounds. I'm assuming the mags are too new and thus need to be broken in before the job becomes easier. Can anyone confirm?

I assume you're doing this with the slide closed. Very common to ensure there's no chance of getting an 11th round in.My Marketplace Feedback: https://www.calguns.net/forum/market...k#post54003245Comment

Its 100% easier if you lock your slide back and then insert the mag. Idk why.Comment

I never had any problems with my PX4 (mines chambered in 40). My friend's brand new one had similar problem and he has a 9mm. After talking to his gunsmith, it was diagnosed that the gun mags are very stiff and this is common for the first few times. After shooting it, his PX4 (9mm) has been perfect. Good luck with the gun. It is fantastic after you break it in! PM if you need any help.A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.Comment
