Glock problems

I would guess magazines. I had some 10 round 17 mags that would constantly jam the first three rounds when new. I left them loaded in the safe for a couple of months and they work great now. I periodically unloaded/loaded them throughout the two months. There was a noticable difference between the first and the last time I did this.

My brand new mags never jammed. Were just a ***** to load.

Shouldn't be happening at all. This a new gun or used? Sounds like a worn out recoil spring.
I get 1-2 malfunctions per 500 rounds.

Plus one. Most of my glocks and I would bet most glocks in general are tight when a full mag is inserted with the action closed. If it's an older gen 3, get a new recoil spring.

Not getting much info back from the OP....appears that it's NOT new. Wondering: Other than a basic dis-assembly, have you swapped out any parts/taken apart the frame/slide/removed pins. etc? Have you changed anything at all?
Still wondering what kind of ammo your trying to load...

I put 1000 rounds down the barrel , I use federal 230 grain , haven't changed any parts .

If it was used before you put 1000 rounds through it, I would still think the recoil spring is getting soft. If it was new before 1000 rounds then it's hard to tell without looking at it.

Does it feel really easy to rack without a mag inserted?

About how many rounds have been fired through the gun total, and what is your racking technique? Do you pull back the slide with authority and let it slingshot forward without riding the slide at all?

I put 1000 rounds , rack it with force , when i 1st rack it tends to get stuck that's the only problem. It shoot fine

When I put less rounds it rack perfectly . 8-9 rounds that's when I have the problem.

Mags are old . I never put 10 round in them only 9 .

Sorry, I mean so easy as if the recoil spring is too soft. That would mean that it wouldn't return to battery when a full mag is inserted as the tension from the 9th, or 10th round would keep it from doing so.

Same thing as every other thread like this. There's only a few things it can be. Here are the two obvious ones, recoil spring or magazine springs.

It sounds like a recoil spring problem. Buy a new one, they're like 12 bucks.

The million dollar question is this: does it fire normally when you have a fully loaded mag?

Chamber a round, remove the mag, fill it up completely, reinsert the mag, and fire. If it runs through the mag with no problem, then the problem might be your racking technique.

Just because you have a problem when racking the slide, doesn't mean the gun has a problem.

If the gun shoots fine with a full mag then there really isn't an issue. You don't by any chance baby the slide back into battery when you rack it do you? You shouldn't. Let it slam home from the slide release with a full mag.
