5.7x28 mm Availability

Hey, all.

I'm interested in purchasing an FN Five-SeveN soon, but I had a question-- how is availability for 5.7x28 mm ammunition here in California? The places I've checked so far (including Wal-Mart and Turner's) don't seem to carry it in-store. Is the best option simply to buy it online or at gun shows?

Availability locally is one thing to consider, cost is another. If cost is not an issue, you will find the ammo everywhere.

I own the pistol and the PS90...fan of both. Most places you WONT find it in stock, but like previously stated...online all day and the greatest quote in the gun world...

Online sellers recently had a sale on them so I bought 6000 rounds last month.

If you can't find it on sale, I'll sell you 1,000 rounds from my purchase at cost.

Sometimes your LGS will have, Wal-Mart will never carried calibers like that. If your area have Sportmans, they should have it.

For the Five-Seven pistol, the Federal American Eagle runs just fine, and is usually the cheapest on-line. Others have already listed some good sources like Sportsman's Guide, etc for it.

If you are thinking about getting the PS-90, they tend to prefer the FN factory ammo.

Turners stocks it if you are desperate they keep it behind the gun counter. Other than that order online when you find a good deal
