Crimson Trace question on my 1911

I recently picked up a set of the Crimson Trace Master Carry G10's for my Kimber Ultra Carry (stainless.) I was able to get them as Refurb/Demo units from DVOR for $175.

I received them in the mail and wasted NO time installing them on my firearm. They came with the 'DANGER' and 'Avoid Exposure' decals and says, fairly sternly, that they 'must be installed as indicated below' over am image. I OBVIOUSLY, don't want decals on my Kimber... So my question is, is it a law that these must be present? There certainly aren't warning stickers on my 308 boresight that I own...

The only thing I could find was that 'In the United States, lasers above 5 mW (Classes 3B and 4) must have proper labeling, an emission indicator, and an interlock with a key or pin that prevents emission if the pin/key is removed.'

From the owners manual, this appears to be a 5mW PEAK, class 3R laser. since it is not ABOVE 5mW, do I need to add the labels?

    Thank you,
    Wes

I run a CT grip on a Springfield XD-9. Since I couldn't source a matching silver decal that says "Warning: Hot lead emitted from this aperture" to put by the muzzle, I elected not to use the laser warning sticker either.

I've also been known to remove mattress tags.

Ditch the stickers! Warning labels should also read "Duh" or "No-hsit, really?".

However some warning labels I do pay attention to...
