Looking to buy a 9mm handgun tomorrow but there are so many to choose from. Which in your opinion is the best? and why

Need more details before anyone can give you a worthwhile answer. Why do you want a handgun? What do you want to do with it? Home defense? Range plinking? Concealed carry?

There is no "best." If there was, everyone here would own that one, and no other.

You said you're looking to buy the gun tomorrow. If that's the case, you're limited to what your LGS has in stock.

There is no best handgun. Find the one that fits your hand, and that you can shoot well with. Nobody can decide which will fit you best because they are not you. For a generic handgun, a glock 17 or 19 would be a good starting point. But not everybody likes the way the feel.

From my experience, just close your eyes, point at the display case then buy whichever you point. It doesn't really matter. You will be back to buy more.

Where are you located? I have a....few I would let you try out to see if you like one over another. But it's best not to buy anything until you have shot several and see what fits you best.

In all honesty I would say don't spend under $350 and you will be fine. But try a few out. I am a huge Glock fan and own 5 of them. My wife got a Springfield XD and I shoot better with it than any of my Glocks. You just need to try what works for you. Good thing is that guns don't really lose much value. Not quite like buying a car or something where you lose 10% of your value just by driving it off the lot.

I think most people asking about which gun to buy are looking to find a nice range toy. 99% will probably never conceal carry. 99% will say they will also use the gun for home defense.
