I can vouch for the P220 Equinox as not having a Shark fin (LCI) or Mag Disco (MDI). I'm surprised the P226 Equionox has those California safe features.

For the guy thinking 40 or a 9
Some pistols in a 40 just need to swap out the barrel to a 9 or a 357 sig even a 10 mm the 357 I think you can use the 40 magazine other calipers barrel and mags.
Speaking of Sigs, I have a 1911 45 Nitron, has been back to sig twice, feeding issues. They polished the ramp the first time. Better still had issues. Sent them a video of it not always properly ejecting. They told me I had to much recoil. So I rented one, filmed it had no issues, called them. They stayed with the recoil but would test it at my cost of ammo. Thinking about turning it into a 460 Rowland

I thought some 2022 with external extractor has LCI but not 100% sure about the mag disconnect. I lucked out and bought a new 2022 from Sportsmans Warehouse last month and got internal extractor, no mag disconnect, no LCI, 2 mags, holster, back strap and etc for $400.

You are correct, only the 9mm 2022 has the LCI and those with the LCI are few and far between. Those are French police contract pistols. Sig batch builds them so if they get an order for the French police the next entire 9mm batch will have the LCI and external extractor. there is about a 90% chance that if you order a 9mm 2022 it will NOT have the LCI.

No 2022 has the mag disconnect.
