Difference between SAA and Blackhawk grips?

I have an 1851 Navy black powder revolver that I'm interested in getting new grips for. I found some that I like, but they are made for the Ruger Blackhawk, while my gun shares the grip frame of a Colt SAA. Is there a major difference between Blackhawk grips and saa grips, or could they be made to fit with some modification? Thanks.

Major difference and your guns grip is only similar to the SAA and not the exact same.
