    Glock 42 380

Is it just me or do you ladies and gens see tons of Glock 42 380 at calgun market. I do like my G42, very soft to shoot and easy to carry. Wonder if they are selling it due to G43 9mm....

I think people are still caught up in the caliber myth.

I have no problem with a 42, and would get one if I couldn't obtain a 43, which I got PURELY because I already reload 9. I didn't want to have to get a set of 380 dies, another turret, initial run of brass, different caliber bullets, etc.

    Nothing wrong with the 42.

I see tons of them and their 100% mark-up over the free state price seems a little steep considering they were available before the SSE was ended.

I have one, and like all Glocks, it's a great pistol. Would I trade it for a 43? Definitely. But that doesn't keep it from being the most pleasant .380 I've ever shot. I wish it was just a tad smaller though. Seems a little too big for a modern concealment .380.

A ton of people bought the 42 during SSE. The 43 wasn't available during that period so you do not see as many of those in the marketplace.

Every cop I knew bought 42's when they came out. Then 43's came along, they all got sold and 43's purchased.
Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

there's tons in the market because no one is paying 100% markup. i'd have one, but not at that price.

Wish I still had my 42. It was a great shooter.

There are a ton of 43s in the marketplace also. I'm wondering if people are buying and flipping them, they don't like how they shoot, think they are too big for pocket carry, prefer Glock 26 etc.

I sold my 42 after buying a 43. And, I am keeping it.
