hey everyone I need help I am new to revolvers. I have the sp101 357 magnum.
I changed the stock ruger sp 101 hammer and trigger Spring from the original 14lb hammer and 10lb trigger to the 10lb hammer, and to the 8lb trigger Springs.
I like it, BUT when I quickly dry fire it, after two or three clicks it seems to kind of get stuck. When i put the original 10lb trigger spring back on it, it changes and doesnt do that, but the pull is to heavy and I dont like it.
Would a different combo make a difference?
For example, putting the original 10lb trigger spring, and maybe putting the 9lb hammer spring? I tried the 12 lb hammer spring/8lb trigger, and It was okay, but it still was sticking. Will dry firing a few hundred times fix it with the new replacement springs? Currently I have the 10lb hammer and 8 lb trigger spring.
I also have the 9 and 12 lb hammer spring, and a 10lb hammer spring or 8lb hammer spring.
