CDNN CZ Mags are Counterfeit

I just received a shipment of Magazines for CZ82/83. They have a label that says CZ factory magazine. It was advertised on the website as factory cz as well, but they are clearly fakes. The logo is wrong. None of the CZ proof marks. There is a mark on the bottom of the floorplate that says "mfg CZ." But that's not a Czeska Zbrojovka proof and never has been. The mag bodies don't have the reinforcement dimple that real ones have at the bottom. WORSE, the mag springs are MUCH weaker than real CZ 82/83 mags that are used surplus good condition. VERY Disappointing that CDNN would sell such an obvious counterfeit.

I don't have a clue how to post photos. Not very tech savvy. But, I know my equipment and these are NOT even CLOSE to the real thing. The only visual detail would be the reinforcement dimple. CZ mags have a depression on each of the two sides that rises vertically up from the floorplate. This "dimple" reinforces the mag body making it more rigid. The big problem is the spring strength and a picture can't show you how easy it is to push in a brand new follower with your finger.

yea i got some cz52 mags with that czmfg mark i think they really are made by some czechoslovakia maker just made a year ago its just they are not made well

So you've seen CDNN's P&L showing their profit on different product lines??...I find that somewhat doubtful...:roll eyes:

This one deserves an immediate phone call. Emails are on automatic delay, ignored until there is time - possibly even go to spam box.

In any case, I've never had trouble with CDNN - ever. True, while their profile is not a sure-fire as it was some 15 years ago, if selective, good things still happen. In fact, 2 of my Mateba Unicas came from them, pre-SB15 Roster/ Year 2000.

Same here... but a few Calgunners did have that happen back in 2010 or 2011. I'm just repeating what was shared in those threads.

The problem is, the frustration and aggressive attitude is misplaced. We are trying to keep this state free but we are up against the Mongolian hordes of "gimmie" voters.
