FN 5.7 IOM UPDATE

Just got off the phone with DOJ. Some interesting goings on. There have been a lot of reports of people ordering the IOM (identified by the rounded trigger guard called the "cold weather hump") and having the USG show up at their FFL, which cannot be DROSed as it is not approved. I am now told that the USG has also been approved and will appear on the website tomorrow or the next day, the DROS drop down a few days later at the most.

So take your pick, the USG with squared trigger guard and slightly improved grip or the older and now discontinued IOM.

I just looked and now both the USG and the IOM are on the list.
Looks like I'm getting a USG soon!!

For anyone who wants to take a look at one, I was just at the Gun Exchange in San Jose. I dont think they had 10 round mags in yet but if you want to take a look at it they got one. Dam that gun is really light.

Just fondled my USG on Friday. Eight more days until I can do more than that.
It is extremely light, I got to thinking if they made a compact it wouldn't be noticable as a carry gun.
As far as 10 round magazines, CDNN has them for $9.99 - mine came with 3 10 rounders by request.
Now I just need to find ammo!
