    Did my Rami come defective?

I can see the round chambered from outside the gun...slide is completely forward. Is this normal or dangerous?

I took the barrel out to do a "plunk" test and I can definitely hear the bullet hit the front of the chamber...if that makes sense?

It does make sense, I don't own one, but it looks off to me. could be wrong about it.

Most any barrel won't let a round go completely flat in it. I'm going to let others who have one chime in.

These are normal inspection holes for a round in the chamber in many types of pistols, and one reason that defense ammo uses nickel plated cases - because they are easier to see via these witness holes. These holes take on many shapes and locations depending on the gun in question, but that is what they are for. Call it the original LCI.

Seems like most of my non-roster pistols have that type of loaded chamber indicator; more or less visual depending on the model.
