I would take either one. Both of them would be a huge step above any thing else. I would prefer these to any 1911 or anything else that fires that round. It would shoot every time without fear of jams.

I own both. Not all internal parts are the same. 2 or 3 parts Were different

Just did a rebuild on my Non SF G21..

The Non SF is my Working on the property/ traveling gun.

SF is in a grab n go kit.

Non SF is discontinued. But NOS G21 Non SF do show up from time to time. Like when turners/2A Zone/ GS had then for like $450ish. From my understanding they are old military contracts they have been sitting in the warehouse. Once the contract is up n that particular military branch upgrades to different glocks they can be sold.

I'm happy with my Non-SF G21 Gen3. Apparently I have big hands because I feel absolutely comfortable with it as I do with Beretta 92's and HK USPs. Best thing about my G21 is getting it barely used (thing looked like it hadn't been shot at all) for $370 from a guy with little girly hands. lol. I see them come up regularly in CG marketplace around $400 or less used.

          I couldn't tell a difference. Now the MK23....that's a big *****

+1 to the above^ ....you can find them cheap as hell on gun.deals in 3rd and 4th gen for free state folks

Would make great .45 super dedicated guns

I have a G22, a G21SF and a G30SF and they actually all feel good in my hand. The slight difference in width may change the position of my finger on the trigger but I try to be aware of that.
              I can't say I prefer a Glock over a 1911 because I have both and like both.
