    CA handgun pricing - Cobray M11 & PM11

I'm going to have to sell a few firearms. What do you think fair local market value for these two Cobray PM-11 is? One is pre-ban with a "permanently" attached thread protector and has been fired 50 times, the other is unfired with a post-ban non-threaded barrel. Both have the extended bolt handle and all original documentation, case and packaging. I'm thinking $750 ea.

Good luck. With the possibility of NRF's in-state, these may not fetch as much as you'd like. Suggest you get them sold ASAP before NRF's erode their value.

Agreed. Post them at that price now. You'll get that for them, I'd bet.

        There's a guy selling a PM-11 for $1750 but no takers.

Maybe it would sell for something less than that?

WTF is an "nrf" ? These kind of guns are all over the Fresno area, for 700 to 1000 bucks. $750 tops is what I'd ask for quick sale. Especially since they are the "long" macs. Not as cool as a Texas mac, or m10 or m12 shorty. Good luck!

            NRF = Non-Rosterable Frame.

            Short/quick version.

A few people figured out that the law says the "approved list" applies only to handguns and not frames/recievers.

Since a frame/reciever is not a handgun, the "approved list" does not apply.

So, buy a frame/reciever, then assemble it to whatever you want (handgun/long gun).

How does this effect a Cobray PM-11?
Buy a M-11/9 frame for $100-200, buy PM-11 parts kit for $200-300. Assemble into a CA legal M11/9 clone.

See this thread for more in depth information.

2weeks ago it was two weeks right?
Masterpiece won't ship any frames to ca, or at least they are playing dumb with me. What's the deal. Anybody know what the trick is? Please no " have your uncle in Texas ship it in a peanut butter jar" B.S. Either.
What do you really have to do to get it legit. I'm pretty sure I have a willing FFL.....
                      So that's not a problem.

Everyone is waiting for the NRF thing to go through.
Some people and FFLs in CA are currently testing the waters (ie. CA DOJ reaction) before making the big announcement and releasing the flood waters.

So, we all need to be patient and wait.
This sort of thing needs to be double checked under a microscope to see if it'll fly. So, its going to take some time.

                          I have a Leinad PM11 (9mm) and a SWD M12 (380 acp).

I paid 400.00 OTD for each but I would say the going rate for them is 700-1000.

If I had the money and got a few other things out of the way first I would totally buy one of those just to have it.
