    Glock 43

Hey!! New to this site but looking for some help. My sister in Arizona has a Glock 43 she doesn't like and wants to give/sell to me. Is there any way to do it so I can legally own in in CA?

You could marry her. Otherwise, no. Only gifts from parents/grandparents/children/grandchildren/spouse are roster exempt.

Yes, for their own personal use.

Buying it on your behalf, would be a straw purchase and illegal under Federal laws.

Your grandmother can gift you a Glock 43.
Because it is an intra-familial gift, the handgun is exempt from needing to be on the Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale.

In order to be a gift, you can not pay for it or reimburse her for it.

Because the transfer is from a resident of another State, Federal laws requires the firearm to be transferred to you through a CA FFL dealer.
Not all CA FFL dealers know about or are willing to do an out-of-state intra-familial gift transfer, so the first thing you need to do is find a CA FFL dealer that will process this type of transfer. If you tell us your location (city or county), others can direct you to a CA FFL dealer that does out-of-state intra-familial gift transfers.
