My Glock 19's time in lock up is almost complete. Feeling especially sad today because my new truglo sights, surefire light, talon grips, and 3.5 ghost trigger connector all arrived via-UPS this morning.

I ordered my Glock 19 on 2/22, shipped out to my FFL later that week. Had some scheduling conflicts that pushed the DROS to this past Tuesday. When I finally pick it up next Friday, it will be almost a month since I ordered it.

In the meantime, 10-8 sights, extra 10 round mags, talon grips and oem minus connector have all arrived. Individually. To remind me of the pain.

Did that at the FFL as I was DROS-ing. Fondled a CZ 75B before the fingerprints were even on paper.

Here's what you do...

Wrap your hands around the Talon grips, squeeze the Surefire light between your middle and ring finger of your support hand, extend your index finger and balance the Truglo sights on there. (you can tape them on there if you're gonna' be running and gunning around the house.)

Now repeat after me...

I just got 7 out of jail this week. That was the hardest time I've ever done!

I am so glad I got out of CA....picked up my new Gen 4 G19 and VP9 this morning. Background check took an agonizingly long 5 minutes...but I guess that is better than the 35 minutes it took for background check on my SR22 Tuesday.

I pick up my Glock on Monday, but I have to wait an extra hour because of DST.

I've always wondered, what do you do during the time the background check runs? Mill about the store until they call your name? Go next door for a burger?

I have VP9 number 3 locked up till Monday.

On a separate but kinda related topic . . . New rule at the Gun Store that the seller wanted to PPT, you now get a 3 days to pick up your gun or it's $5 per day .

Yikes . . . I usually wait till the following weekend to do my pickups but in this case that would cost me $15 more bucks!
