I was in the same boat.
I installed the full Galloway Precision trigger kit.
Spent some anxious moments on my hands and knees looking for a tiny spring in one case and a tiny pin in another.
    Fortunately my magnet found both.
It made a major difference and while I will not carry the LC9, I like it as an alternate to my Glock G26 for HD.
I like the fact that it has a safety, and if the little lady ever takes up firearms, it will be perfect for her.
I bought it as the LC380ca with the conversion kit to LC9.

I would definitely do it again.

I love the stock trigger on my LC9. Its my primary CCW weapon and I like the long pull. Reminds me of a revolver trigger

I agree totally, my worst one too... But after shooting my lc9 today I switched to my dads g26 and wow what a difference! Relatively shot like a pro!

My G26 is the most accurate and flawless semi-auto I have had the pleasure to shoot.
I don't feel comfortable carrying it because of the light trigger.

I never did get the Galloway transfer bar to work. Several emails with Galloway about bend this, touch this with a file, etc. I lost patience. I'll revisit it at some point.

I heard they had some problems with the early kits.
Mine installed and worked as advertised
Might be worth contacting them and asking for the newest parts.

I hate the factory LC9 trigger.... but it is a defensive gun and I passed on the Galloway kit.... not 100% certain it would be 100% reliable

I recommend you sell the LC9.

I had an early galloway trigger kit installed by them. It significantly improved the trigger. I also cerakoted the slide and had Ruger pin the front sight. No problems whatsoever with the galloway trigger kit. It made my groups get smaller. I think I spent around $100. Ended up selling the gun to a friend who hasn't had any issues.

Agree with others. Sell and get a shield or lc9s

How much does a used LC9 go for these days?

                          A used LC9 would go for $400-450. An LC9S or 9S Pro will run @ $600

I had an LC9 and upgraded to the Galloway trigger.
Not the kind of upgrade instal I would recommend for the average gun owner.
Lots to go wrong but if you take your time is a HUGE improvement.
Showed it to my Mom and ended up giving it to her for her BD (transferred properly, of course).
Just bought another LC9 and in the process of upgrading that trigger.
If you plan on keeping your LC9 (it's a great gun) I would invest the $100 and time.

I've been looking for an LC9s for 6 months with no success.
I also don't have all day to troll CalGuns for a pistol as the ones that have popped up sell 30min after posted.

I have/am considering that and replacing it with a Shield 9mm or holding out for a Glock 43.

I can get a Shield 9mm for $375 OTD, and now that I type that number I still wonder why I haven't bought one yet...oh yeah only 1 every 30
