SSE v2 2011 frame

I have been reading old theads for a possible ssev2 for a strip 1911 or 2011 frame but no direct answer if it has been really done or not. Would it still be possible to buy a 1911/2011 frame via sse like STI frame?

Limited Ten makes a 22lr single shot slide. I believe it works without any 2011 internal frame parts. He's a Calguns member, so I'm sure he'll be along shortly with more info.

If you have the means to build up a 1911/2011, get a 80% frame. Otherwise, you can transfer a 100% 2011 frame from Limited-10 as a single shot, break top pistol. Like cindynles mentioned, you can get 100% 1911 frames through 2A Zone in Rancho Cucamonga as a single shot, break top pistol as well.

Unless you are an exempt person, the stripped frame/receiver, can only be DROS'd as a "long gun".
Which can then be used to legally make a rifle only.

The stripped frame/receiver can be shipped to a 07-FFL, which can then make it into a dimensionally compliant break-top single-shot pistol and then be transferred via SSE2.
