glock 42 43 interchangeability?

Just had a thought, considering most glock stuff interchanges, could you put a complete 43 slide on a 42 lower and get some 43 mags if needed?

A glock 43 mag will not fit in a g42

If you change the 42's slide and frame then the mags will fit.

I'm just kidding. I just wanted to know what it was like to be one of "those" guys. I don't know the answer to your question. But I'm sure you've figured it out by now.
