ar pistol handguard

I tried searching but couldn't any answers, maybe you guys can help out. So I want to build another ar pistol. This time carry handle style. So two questions. First:
Where can I find the pistol length two piece plastic m4 type handguards?

Second:
Does the front sight post need to be an a2 or f height?

ive not seen smallplastic handguards for 7.5 barrels

oh ok cool. I was wondering if the short radius would make a difference with the front post height. I have a few a2 uppers laying around so I thought'd I'd put one to use haaha.

I thought that there were some short handguards but looking at the pictures now they're all 10.5"+ carbine gas. I want a tiny version! haaha. Thank you for the reply.

There is one with a 10.3 inch barrel, little bit harder to find. Check Gunbroker.

google colt mk 18 upper. 10.3" barrel with flat top, carry handle, and plastic furniture and slightly larger gas port.

Man dpms store isn't working right...

Midway has chrome lined 7.5" barrels for $75. Thats what got my mind on building one of them.
