    Beretta Elite on the roster

For purposes of the roster, it allows this:

96G Elite II / Blue Steel, Stainless Steel

Does it matter if the Elite II is the Brigadier version or not?

Brigadier slide is part of the Elite package. Wouldn't be an Elite without it. Scroll to about halfway on the page

        Followup questions:

The roster lists 92G Elite A1. Were there non-A1 variants I should be aware of? Or were all the Elite I's A1?

The Elite family consist of the following.

          92G Elite
          92G Elite IA
          92G Elite II

I've been told this is not on roster:

Why wouldn't this be considered 92G Elite A1 / Steel? What's the difference with the steel part?

As Paintball dad said, this is an 92G Elite.
I wouldn't spend a ton on it. I. WOULD check the serial number on berettausa.Com to assure it's not a 92 that some one slapped an Elite upper on.

I saw the same listing in Gunbroker and that is a 92G Elite. The only on roster Elite models are the 92G Elite IA and the Elite II. It's really pretty simple, the 92G Elite is not listed on the roster .

What is this on the roster then?

                  92G Elite A1 / Steel Pistol 4.5" 9mm 1/1/2017

Is it the IA model you're referring to?

AFAIK, there wasn't an Elite 92G A1 produced and all A1 models (M9A1, 92A1 etc) have rails, none of the Elites have railed frames (correction: the Elite IA is railed). So i assume that would be the 92G IA but it might even be a problem bringing a 92G IA into CA since it is not listed correctly on the roster.

I agree with orangeusa and check the SN against Beretta's data base. The 92G Elite originally had the thin skeleton hammer. The one in the auction looks to have the thicker skeleton hammer.

Not only the 1A/A1 issue but it also lists it as a 4.5 barrel when it should be 4.7

Interesting. I own a 92G Elite. It's the first handgun I ever bought. I always assumed it was on the roster but now I realize I bought it prior to 1997.

I Love that gun and will never sell it. Had it worked over by Ernest Lagdon back in the day when he was still working on Berettas. Best SA/DA trigger I've ever shot.
