    Bersa

My Wife bought a Bersa .380ACP/Firestorm, seems to be a good quality weapon for $300, will try it out soon.

    Anyone else own one?

good gun & great price. Under rated compared to other brands. Tell your wife to practice & have fun.

I had one, until it was stolen.
It was a great shooter, and I definitely have to get another one soon.
Actually, I liked shooting my Bersa 380 more than my Walther PPK.

I bought a Bersa Thunder .380 for my wife. It's my beataround gun. It was so inexpensive I don't care if it get's scratched or dinged as long as it shoots.

I agree with WokMaster1, underrated and great price.

          I have a Thunder 380 duo tone.

          The hammer spring guide
broke and I had to make one. The trigger spring broke
and I had to make up one for that. Other than that and
the fact that it seems like the used brass is tossed right
back in my grill, it's been a nice little weapon. You can
get 9 round mags for it .

Used to have the Bersa Super Thunder 15 rdr, they don't make that model anymore. Mine doesn't like shooting reloads but flawless with factory loads.

Just got my Bersa, it was one of those "sales" at Turners. I got the one with the gold accents. BLING! It was $269.00.

              A fun gun.

FWIW, "Gun Tests" magazine gave the Bersa an "A" rating, and has it in their "best of 2008" issue.

I got mine the same way. Great deal half the price of the Walther PPK.

I'm not thrilled with the Gold accent parts but tehy can easily be changed out.

Another Bersa that my wife really likes is the "Bersa Thunder 9 Ultra Compact / Blue Steel, Alloy " (from the BoF list).
Well lubed it is easy to rack, ambidextrous controls, steel gun so the recoil is light (I think the double spring helps here also) and holds 10 rounds of 9mm.
I've used it at the range and find it very accurate.
No problems so far with 1000+ rounds of WWB through it.

+1 on that. I have one...ok, well, my wife has one. It's a fun shooter and haven't had any prob's with the Bersa mags...did have a little trouble with an aftermarket mag though.

Those Bersas are good looking guns, and if .380 was the price of 9mm I would buy one. No point in buying ammo that costs as much as .45 ACP but is weaker than 9mm Luger IMO. If I had a CCW I might think differently.
