Hi
I didn't see anything on the net or here about it so I thought I'd post it. (GlockTalk briefs it in a thread but there is no post on this)
The first edition 43 mags (33388) can have an issue with the body transitions and cause insertion problems. Glock fixed the mold and now have a 33388-01 magazine to replace the first mags.
Some initial users noted to sand the bottom of the mag catch to fix this. I'd rather get the updated mags from Glock for FREE. Outstanding Customer Service!
*Please do not take advantage of this by keeping the old ones or Glock will probably stop offering it*
If you have first edition mags, call Glock Warranty with your SN and ask for the 43 mag update.
They will send you 2 new -01 mags (1 flush and 1 extended floor plate) with a prepaid return label for you to send the old ones back to them.
Hope this can help someone if they are having issues
