Found that my left rear slide rail had sheared off when I field stripped the gun. I spoke with Glock tech support but they wouldn't give me any hint as to what they would do, even hypothetically. The serial # is Nxxxxx so it's not part of the E-series recall for this same problem.
I'm the 2nd owner and the gun has about 1400 rounds on it. I'm not planning on just shooting the gun with only 3 rails but some people have mentioned that it'll be fine.
I'm just wondering if all the stories out there about Glock taking care of their customers are true or not and just send it in, worst case being $45 shipping + $100 frame replacement, or if there are other options.
