So what is the catch here? Do not get me wrong. I like Baboosh.

The seller is in LA and you in Oxnard and the seller wants to ship it to a dealer instead of just meeting up half way and taking a handful of cash? Does that sound strange to any one else or am I missing something about this set up??

SAE Can be accomplished without disassembling the gun. I got my 3" 686+ via SAE by installing a lock preventing it from being double action. But when cocked there is just enough room to pull the trigger - single action.

            Look it up.. =)

Thanks, utc, I will try calling Rick tomorrow.

So, You are going to forward $5K and hope that he will ship??? You are not concerned about the corny-ness of the seller but looking for a dealer??

A gun that is in California does not need any SAE conversion. I guess the only reason seller is pushing this issue is the rip off factor. He could have posted it on Calgun or any other forum and sell it in CA within the week.

                This whole deal smells fishy.

I agree. Refuses ppt but only live an hr away is a red flag

if the gun is on a dealer's books, then the roster applies.
if the gun is on a dealer's books, then he can't PPT it.

the seller appears to sell a lot of stuff so he may be a licensed dealer, or be an FFL without a CFD, or may buy and sell through a separate licensed dealer, hard to say.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
