Super Unique Special Snowflake Glock Sight Question

I'm browsing sight options while waiting for KY Gun Co to pack up and ship my Glock 19 to me (my FFL). It will be primarily a home defense/nightstand gun.

For the sights I have it down to either the Heinie Straight-8 set or 10-8 black rear and tritium front. Does the tritium dot in the rear sight make a difference in this case? I know that at the range I actually prefer the 10-8 setup, and it is what I have on my 21. Let me know your thoughts guys!

I have Ameriglo PRO I-Dot sights on my Shield, 19 and 35. I like 'em a lot. And about $50 less than the Heinie's.

I actually just found those, on Amazon in fact lol. The price is indeed pretty attractive, and I actually like the bigger front sight. How are yours holding up?

I don't run combat courses anymore but they are very solid sights. In daylight the front sight is very easy to pick up. Can't say I've ever done night shooting with them but I do prefer the two dot system. They just seem quicker than a three dot set up.
