    Looking for 1911?

    I like the stainless steel with redwood grips..What are some thing to look for . And I'm trying to keep it at $1000 .so far I looking at the colt 08011xse
    Kimber stainless 2 ,Smith & Wesson SW1911 . What other are good full size guns .and also Springfield ones . I'm looking for newer models .

    Colt is off roster and if you can find one below $1k you best take it. But I doubt you will.

    Springfield or Kimber are probably the best choice since you want SS.

    This Springfield is nicely equipped and generally sales around $800. After taxes and fees you can still afford some extra magazines and ammo.

      Ok I look it that loaded when I'm out at the gun shop I will see how it feels. Thank for the feedback . I didn't bother to check if the Colt was on the roster .Then came across the sig ttt. Looks good also .

        The SA Loaded is a great gun for the price, and Springfield has a great warranty and awesome customer service.

            They are all solid choices. Like Ripon said, if you can find the colt at your price point don't hesitate. I was, also, very fond of the SW1911. It's a good production 1911 and can be found under 1k in the market place from time to time.
