NibX Coated Glock

Hey just wondering if any of you guys/gals own a NibX coated Glock and how reliable is it so far?

Im talking about the ones coated by WMD.

I know keep it black etc but i wanna hear opinions from those of you that have actually owned a nibx coated Glock.

I have a G27 with a hard chrome slide. Love it. I know this isn't what you asked, but I'd expect the NibX coating to be superior...at least WMD says it is.

I have a 26 that i picked up during SSE. Big fan. I carry it alot. Various holsters and never a mark on it.

It cleans up really well. I feel like i could run it under the kitchen faucet and it would be clean.

Never a malfunction.

Highly recommend it if you can pick one up.

i have a g27, slide has zero wear and barrel only minor wear but has not rubbed through.

thanks guys. My friend has a new Nibx complete G26 slide assembly that he wants to trade. I have a like new lipseys FDE G26 slide. My G26 is complete FDE and I think it would look pretty cool to have the nibx slide with fde frame.

I'm considering the trade. No other reason except to own one cool looking Glock. I already have a full fde G17 and a two tone fde G19. So I was thinking about doing different.

I Just didn't want to trade and then have issues. However my friend says we can test them out and if there is ANY issues at all he will just keep it.

I recently put stairway tape on my slide. It really feels good now. Its not pretty but it works well.

Problem with slippery slide coatings is that they make manipulating the slide more difficult. I have yet to see a problem with the finish that comes on the Glock.

Are you going to get the barrel coated along with the slide like the stock Glock EXO's?

I've heard a lot of people say their nib bcgs from that company "stain." I have a nib bcg from a different company and it hasn't discolored at all.

Also I just don't see the point. The factory glock coating is fantastic. YMMV

I don't think that's gonna fit in a holster.

Hard chrome is stronger and more durable than NiB

Its actually just a fun gun. Ive never done any mods to any of my guns. So i figured why not. I have my 19s bone stock. I just wanted one bling Glock. I dont carry glock in a holster but i do have a holster for when it travels and its not hard to remove.
As long as it functions reliably.
Im not having it coated. Just trading my friend for his nibx slide.
Im not gonna put in a $100 trigger that seems to make minimal difference or buying a $500 slide that is cut for rmr or has slide cuts etc. To me its too much $$. This trade will cost me nothing and the tape does help at range and its free.

I will see how it wears soon enough.
