First purchase in over a year.

CZ SP-01 was put in jail earlier today. I sold my CZ 75b .40 alittle over a year ago for no good reason other then I'd eventually replace it with a 9mm. I set a limit this year at 2 firearms max. I hope this SP-01 is as good as all the reviews I read.

The CZ is heavier then I expected, which is not a problem since it will be a range gun and somthing to add to the collection.

The only thing that bothered me was the factory grip, felt cheap. Any recommendations for aftermarket CZ Grips?

The rubber grips are actually pretty comfortable. If they don't fit your hands, there are plenty of options from VZ Grips, CZ Custom, or CZ-USA.

Gratz on the purchase. I put Hogue g10's on mine. They feel and look great.

Honestly imho the stock rubber grips are the best ones for it.
they fit the best on my p01 for me

I don't think you will be disappointed, although the CZ SP01 is not for everyone. For grips, there are plenty of options, from wood to aluminum from various sites, like CZ USA.

            Congrats!

How does rubber feel cheaper or expensive? I've got SPO1, SP01 Tactical, & SP01 Shadow and the rubber grips feel great to me.

I shouldn't of said cheap. Not that rubber grips are uncomfortable, I just can't stand the feel of rubber when shooting. I prefer VZ type grips or wood grips.

VZ offers grips for CZ 75. Those should be fine for your gun.

I think I'll stick with VZ. Feels great on all my 1911's, shouldn't be any different on a CZ

congrats on your new acquisition. sometimes the grips that possibly cost the least to manufacture are the best ones for the job. all of my w german Sig Sauer P series pistols wear their original black checkered plastic grips because for my liking they are the grips that are most ergonomically correct. there are other grips that add more to the appearance of the pistols, but none that wear as well.
since one size does not fit all, the good news is that there are optional grips available if your factory grips don't work well for you.

                          Anyone try out these grips?

I used to have the the grips you linked but needed something with a rougher texture. So I opted for these unstead from czc.

That's what I was worried about. How do you like the flat trigger? Is it a drop in or do I need to have a gunsmith do it?
