Feed Back: CZ Checkmate

I need feedback on if this is a good investment. A store received this Checkmate as a blem gun they received from CZ. They are selling it for $1724.
What do you guys think.

It doesn't have the threaded barrel.

its a RACE gun, of course you need to shoot it....

I'll bet you the "blem" is that it was a demo gun...might even have been a SHOT show gun...that would account for the reduced price.

I would buy it as an investment, but it would be a good value as a shooter...if you like the CZ platform

I love the CZ platform. That's why it was the first gun they showed me as soon as a I walked in. Free state living is almost too good. They also had a bunch of W.German made sigs for sale. Thought about picking up another W.German P226 in very good condition. Asking price was $475.

"The Czechmate is based on a modified version of the CZ 75 TS frame. It comes with all parts necessary to run in IPSC Open or Limited division (both in 9mm). The Czechmate comes configured for Open division competition with a compensator and C-More red dot sight installed. The included front sight adapter replaces the compensator, and the included rear sight replaces the slide racker handle when switching from Open to Limited configuration. A big stick 26-round magazine and 3 20-round magazines are included in the CZ hard case.

IPSC minimum power factor for major is 160.

USPSA minimum power factor for major is 165."
