    CZ ambi decockers and safeties?

    Lefty here.

I'm surprised nobody has entered the market yet for aftermarket (steel) ambi safety or decocker kits for CZs. Or CZ themselves for that matter.

I love my CZ, right side controls for this lefty would make me love it more!

I had done some research a while back to see if models w/ ambi controls fit models without. I think that was a dead end.

Anyone know of a manufacturer that has filled this void?

Been a while since I looked....

Reason why I ask - Held a RAMI 2075 and LOVED IT.

This has been explored a few times without great results. In free states buyers have access to all of the ambi CZ models, i believe this limits the market to some degree. As far as i know the outcome was never as strong as the factory option.

To allow a non-ambi CZ frame to except the ambi controls the right side safety hole needs to be increased in diameter. As i understand it a few other parts need to be swapped out as well.

I am also a lefty. After running CZs for a whie i have no trouble actuating the left side only decokers. I stay away from the left side only safety models.

Just a heads up, the CZ SP-01 safety model is on list and comes with ambi safetys.

I believe that the .40 S&W version of the CZ75 is ambi, and may be on the Roster. You could also search the PPT market for a used CZ85. Also look into the Tactical Sport (9 or 40) which are ambi, and I believe on the list.

A better option, imho, is the EAA Witness (Tanfoglio) line of pistols, since adding an ambi is simple, and these can be easily changed in caliber with factory parts.
