PICS: SACS overhauled 1911 Operator full rail!

My 15 year old duty Full rail Mil spec Operator started showing its age: worn out parketized finish, and the various/misc. upgrades throughout the years have conributed to more jams recently. So off it went to SACS for a major overhaul as this is the first, only, and last 1911 I've ever owned. SACS and Amanda were outstanding.

Thanks for the nice comments guys. I'll be at the range tomorrow, will advise. Turn around time was about 12 weeks (11/04/15-02/01/16). Quoted 8-14 weeks. The communication, service, and workmanship were outstanding! Amanda from.SACS was awesome, extremely helpful in guiding me to the most optimal yet reasonable upgrades, and she is really nice and friendly.

They also returned all my old parts and gave me two new SA magazines (included in the package). I'll carry this life-saving-tool-piece-of-art until I retire and beyond. Just love it. - beautiful piece of engineering!

I did the same package w/ my mid 80s springer non rail. Good to see someone else do this package as well! It's my 1st 1911 & decided to freshen it up as well. Thing is a workhorse! I went w/ the armorykote
