That's some nice hand cannons you got.

The finish on those guns will highlight the muzzle flash especially in indoor ranges.

Very nice...I would dual carry the revolvers and strap the desert eagle to my ankle for backup or in case I have to kick the bad guys/annoying grizzley bears. Of course I would have to unretire my bellbottoms from the 70's.

Those are some awesome cannons! One of these days I'll get me a .44 Desert Eagle and a .454 Ruger Alaskan or Super Redhawk at least.

That Alaskan 454 is a beast to shoot with real 454 Casull 300 grain or heavier bullets. I have the 7.5" with a scope and I have to pay attention how I cross my thumbs when shooting it without gloves. I'm sure that 500 is a bigger beast. I have to vow to anyone able to shoot guns like that enough to clear the next lane/bench.

I have fired my SW500 4" with 500gr magnum loads. It looked, and sounded, like a flashbang grenade went off in front of my muzzle. There was no one else shooting at the time. The range was getting ready to close and I pulled it out so one of the RSO's could try it. I have some 700gr hard cast lead loads (t-rex thumpers) but I have not fired one yet.

700gr, Nice! I have 8 3/8" S&W .460. I do like the look of the shorter barrels on yours but think i must have weaker wrists than you.

The magnum loads I have shot range from 350gr to 500gr. I have shot a bunch of 300gr Specials too. The compensator, and overall weight of the X-frame gun, helps a lot with the magnum loads. Shooting gloves also help. I haven't fired the 700gr. At a couple $ per pop I don't exactly shoot any of the loads all day either

The 500 with Lil'Gun 44+ grains of it is an expectacular blast to see. I am capable of shooting a few cylinder full of those loads, but I have settled with the 454 Casull as my threshold.

I picked up my 500 S&W 7.5" Hunter yesterday. I shot 10 rounds of light loads, 10.0 gn of Trail Boss with a 400 gn Missouri bullet, and then switched to the bruiser (literally) loads. 440 gn hard cast, gas checked bullets over 30-34 gns of Lil' gun. Hodgdon says these are good for 1500-1600 fps out of a 10" barrel. My hand is recovering today.
