Sig P238 HD non-ca version, no LCI and No mag safety. Six Fiddy. Hell yeah I bought it!

First up is the ambi safety (I'm a lefty) and then extended mag. Its already got the night sights.... super stoked to cross this one off the want list.

Thanks! I am a huge fan of the cocobolo/stainless look. I was actually taking a look at a 6" Ruger GP100 stainless when the person helping me pulled the P238 out (as if he didn't even see it on the shelf)... I was pretty much sold.

Turns out someone just brought it in yesterday...

I have to wait a few days till it clears until we DROS (pawn shop rules apply), but it's paid up in the mean time.

Very nice OP, good looking gun with the wood grips! Same thing happened to me 9 days ago, stopped by my LGS's first location (that I haven't been to for awhile because it's not as handy to go to as the new spot) just to say hi and BS with the owner, right?! HAHA I see a "used" but very fresh, and I'm pretty sure unfired, kahr p40 with night sights batting her eyes at me... I pick her up tomorrow afternoon lol. 🙈 Shoulda known better than go in there!

I have no remorse... but at the same time I knew what I was getting myself in to!

Funny thing is, I once passed up a used Remington 700 BDL in .308 (hard combo to find) wood/blued for only $450. Came back the next day and it was GONE. So I promised myself never again.

That store has some good guns in and out. I suspect the proximity to San Carlos / Belmont / Burlingame / San Mateo has something to do with it.. but

I once passed on a Springfield 1903 here on CG....for 10 minutes! Came back to say "I'll take it!" and it was already gone.

But good find and a decent price...now if I can just find one like it in 9mm...
