What's the deal with the USA made glocks? I've never seen one and just heard of the existence. How do I get one?

There are Gen3 USA (not on roster).
Option is to buy a Gen3 on roster Austria, then buy/swap with a Gen3 USA slide/upper. Not the most practical way to do things.
Maybe practical if you did like a 34/35 to 22/17 or vice versa combo.
You can not buy USA new thru a FFL, but you can buy a USA slide and it can be delivered to your home. Yep, makes no sense at all, besides the fact it is a gun ban.Comment

I have 3 actually (Gen4). One 19 and 2 17's (sequential numbered 4 letter prefix). Both have Georgia state stamp on the barrel, finished in US tennifer, and USA on the slide.
Otherwise nothing different.
The fate of the wounded rest in the hands of the ones who apply the first dressing.

My G22 was made in Georgia as well. I bought it in California directly from an FFL.
The slide was made in Austria.
What are you guys talking about? Do you mean BOTH the frame and slide are USA made? Before there was Polymer there was Accuracy.Comment

Talking about USA MADE Glocks. (Some [all?] gov agencies require purchases of items/materials originate in the US - Glock's USA HQ made this possible)
For example: my glocks say USA on the slide, NOT Austria. It also has a Georgia state outline stamped on my barrel hood. The serial # is a 4 letter prefix (Austrian Glocks are 3 letter). And the tennifer is significantly different from the Austrian models.
Here is my Glock 17:
