    Beretta PX4 Storm Customization

I just purchased a PX4 9mm today. Obviously won't be in my hand for another 10 days, but I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations for upgrades or customizations I could make to the gun.

I've seen stuff online about different grips, sights, recoil reduction stuff, etc.

Just wanted to know if anyone else had feedback!

Yes, trade it in for M&P Pro :-P jk. I would get fiber optic sights and trigger jobs are always nice.

They make M9 style decocker levers. I have considered buying those. Also night sights I believe. Steel guide rod to replace the plastic guide rod. Low profile decocker levers (which would be very nice so the decocker levers arent so stabby). You could paint it. If you wanted to. They have different backstraps and also different size mag release buttons. No fancy competition triggers that I am familiar with.. Holsters are scarce but Beretta makes some but theyre like $80. It has a rail. Thats all I can think of.

Maybe change the sights, but other than that keep it all factory. Invest on holster, mag carrier, magazine, and ammo. Not that many after market parts out there for px4.

An easy mod is to convert it to G-style decocker only with the stealth levers form Beretta. But I'd suggest shooting it for a while before modding it.

Cougar D spring, or Wilson combat 12lb chrome silicon spring will make for a much nicer trigger pull.

I would do Talon/Traction grips, maybe a D spring or Wilson Combat spring first. Then some night sights. My 9mm has as smooth and as light of a trigger as my my D spring/Elite hammered M92. My 40 feels the same weight wise but is not as smooth. They have a very soft recoil impulse so recoil reduction is not neccessary, that being said I did put a DPM guide rod in my 40cal, but have not got enough rounds thru it to guarantee reliable function, no issues as of yet. But I must say it does make a huge difference in felt recoil and muzzle flip. Eventually I will do something about the decocker, I prefer the 92 style, may try the stealth also.

Thanks for the input guys. Any recommendations on which brand for sights? Also... Anyone have experience with Talon Grips?

I use the rubberized Talon Grips on all my guns. Yep, like'em a lot. BTW, you have a choice of small or medium /large on those grips.

As for sights....your option might be very limited..
Tons of different types of sights for Glock, m&p, sig, etc....
For PX4 not too sure... factory sights are decent for PX4 if you are okay with 3 dot sight system.

Yeah, nobody owns (just one) PX4...
My only recommendation is to make sure you try all the grips even if the one that comes on it feels good.

Why not own it and shoot it for like a thousand rounds to really get to know it before getting in and fixing what might not be broken?
