Affordable/Quality Pistol Locking Case?

I am looking for a locking pistol case. Started searching today and there is a LOT out there (overwhelming). I found a lot of not so great quality at seemingly high prices.

I'm looking for something middle of the road that offers a lot of bang for the buck. Think the Honda of cases. Is there a standard favorite?

* I strongly prefer one with integral locks, but if it requires a padlock I would want it to only need 1 and still lock securely.
* Plastic is fine.
* It needs to hold a XD Tactical (pretty big pistol) and at least 4 mags. 13" x 9" should do the trick.
* A handle is good, but not required.
* I can adjust my budget if I am being unrealistic, but I was hoping to spend less than $100.

I just bought this one and it seems to very good quality (and inexpensive). I wanted something a little smaller that would fit inside a range bag but still hold two full-sized pistols and a few mags.

I've been meaning to get one from Case Club.
You can upgrade to Pelican and built-in locks on many plus they have lifetime guarantee.

I got a Seahorse case from Amazon and couldn't be happier. Damn near Pelican quality at a fraction of the cost.

It's cheap and satisfies "locked case" requirements. The lock holes accept a gun cable lock, or two padlocks. I like that the sliders can't move, so you can't open it at all without unlocking it.

That said, it's not a safe, it's not water proof, and it's not as strong as a Pelican.

Just depends on what you need it for.

I bought a used XDM Case on Ebay. Contacted Springfield and bought a second "gun insert" as the case came with a gun insert and a holster insert.

Now I can carry both my XD9 tacticals, or a Tactical and a Service, or Tactical and XDS.
I've been asked a few times at the range "where did you get that case"

Just one lock. You can use either side to lock
