    Sig certified armorer....

can you guys recommend someone around the Diamond Bar, West Covina & Walnut area (LA county) you have done business before. Sending it back to SigArms is a choice but if I can find a local guy then I can get away from the hassle of shipping it. Any input is much appreciated.

    Merry Christmas to All!!

What do you need to have done? Topgunsupply has the Armorers DVD if you just want to do something simple like install a short trigger.

        Heyyy!!! how did you know?
Seriously, I need a go to guy for minor works like night sights, cosmetics(barrel polishing) etc. Nothing beats a good gunsmith to do a job for less price & shipping than the mfg.

He does great work, good turn around, good prices and in Covina.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

You do not need a Sig Certified Armorer for that work, nor a gunsmith. With the proper Sig sight pusher you can do this yourself.

$170 is a hell of a lot more than a gunsmith/armorer will charge.

Yes, but you keep the tool and can use it for other SIG's. You can also sell it and get most of your money back.

I have that sight pusher and used it to replace the sights on my own Sig. I have no problem bringing the tool to you and help you change the sights, provided it is before 1/5 when I start my new job. Or we can make arrangements with just your slide. Your call but it won't take long.

I have also used sandpaper and my bench polisher to polish my barrel hood. Again, I can do the best I can on them for you.

I'll do it to help you out as a fellow Sig owner. No need to pay.

                    PM me.

Were you looking to have other things done also?

FWIW Manhattan Beach PD uses Sigs and has an excellent factory trained armorer there. PM scombs263 and inquire.
