(I had an OD Fetish for awhile 4 XDs and a MC Operator )

I do it as a hobby to keep myself busy and also knowing that I did the work myself. If you're anywhere near the Sacramento area I wouldn't mind helping out a fellow calgunner here and there. Not interested at all to making it a business thing. Between the kids and their activities, reloading, etc... I don't have too much time to be cerakoting all day.

I hear you . . . I barely have time to get out and shoot these days.

If anyone knows of a great shop that Cerakotes, please post it up. Now that I've seen Sac ARs sniper gray Glock . . . I'm thinking there is a two XD9's I have in OD that would look awesome in Sniper Gray!

Cerakote holds up really well, especially the oven cure.

I have only ever put cerakote on guns that had a lot of damage to the finish, as a way to make an old gun look new again. I see no reason to put it on a gun that already has a nice finish. But, it's your gun, do whatever you like to it.
